LOVE YOUR SKIN!

Hello there and welcome!

I get this question a lot of times and most often than not, it sounds rather insulting than complimentary. The question is, “Is that actually your skin?” In my head, I’m like Nah it’s camouflage and I’m some kind of chameleon. But really, I am aware of the reason behind the question. I’m not blowing trumpets here but it’s simply the flawless skin.

What is a flawless skin?

A flawless skin is one without imperfections, blemishes or flaws. In my own words, stunningly attractive, smooth, a perfect texture and that gorgeous glowy look even without serum. But let’s get this straight, a flawless skin is just a myth. Your skin cannot be a hundred percent free from blemishes, acne, reactions. There’s always gonna be that patch carrying the memory of where your skin has been and that’s why it’s called natural.

Notwithstanding, it isn’t impossible to achieve a radiating skin. It takes maintenance, habit, and patience. You don’t need to turn a millionaire to purchase the best products for your skin. In real facts, natural products are the best and we’re gonna talk about them in this blog.

How can I go about a flawless skin?

It’s pretty easy if you ask me. Honey is number one. I totally recommend. Others like aloe vera, banana peels… Yes! Banana peels. According to Healthline, banana peel, rich in antioxidants, fibre and essential nutrients, helps brighten the skin and reduce wrinkles. It even acts as a moisturiser and helps in hydrating the skin. Several studies have found banana peel to have anti-inflammatory properties, too.

Banana peels have high levels of antioxidants and potassium which can help heal the scars. They also help in lightening the skin tone and can be used to get rid of dark circles as well.

The shea butter is also very vital for your face. Shea butter is mostly common with Africans and it has soothing and anti-aging properties that may make skin appear smoother and reduce aging. I highly recommend.

Next on this list would be the avocado. For smooth and supple skin: Including avocado in your diet or applying it topically on to your skin as part of a face mask, will help your skin procure some essential fatty acids, which helps keep your skin supple and soft.

I always finish it off with coconut oil and I make sure I keep the routine daily. Morning and evening, and another tip is eating good food. Your body is the evidence of what has gone through your mouth, and so is your face. I recommend a lot of fruits, and having a balanced diet. It isn’t healthy loading your stomach with oily foods or dozens of buckets of spicy chicken wings. Another tip is having enough rest. Sleep at the appropriate time as this would not only prevent eye bags, but also make your day a lot more productive.
