MAKEUP PRODUCTS

This is a key topic in makeup as it affects your entire make up look. Some products make your face look like a doze of several complications. That one look when your eye shadow is messed up, the eyeliner just isn’t coorperating, the contour is too light, the shadows are invisible, the bronzer is just everywhere and your foundation just tops the failure off. Now that’s something a little more than a natural disaster, if you ask me.

Most people think the most expensive products are the best but that’s not really true if you ask me. You’ve just got to find what products your face can work with and which ones it’s gonna cause a riot with. Obviously I haven’t purchased every single foundation that worth more than $20 but I can tell you a few tips which will be helpful.

TIP #1: MAKE A BUDGET

I feel this is the most important tip because you don’t want to spend a hundred percent of your income on make up products. You want to look good, but also think smart while at it. I spend on makeup whenever I think I have money to spare, and not when I have other responsibilities to take care off. Make a budget that’s gonna get you good products and don’t fix your mind on the most expensive ones. I’ll give a scenario. Let’s say you have a budget of $30. X foundation costs $20, Y eyliner costs $10. You’ve spent on products that cannot complete even a simple make up look. This is possible only in a case where you’re just piling up the products till they’re finally complete before you use.

TIP #2: CHECK THE BEST REVIEWS.

I would recommend not walking into a drugstore or a make up store and just picking any random brand. Make your research and find out the authenticity and verismo of each brand you wish to purchase from. This is very effective, trust me, because you shouldn’t be working with products you aren’t sure of. Check reviews on the comment sections on Instagram, check YouTube bloggers on make up products as well as any social media that provides authentic information.

TIP #3: CHECK THE PRODUCT PERFECT FOR YOUR SKIN.

It’s quite evident there’s different kinds of skin types. Oily skin, dry skin, and those that are just in between. As well as mascaras that make you tear up, contacts that could give your eye several complications and whatnot. Carefully pick out products suitable for your skin and stick to them, just to prevent pores, breakouts, reactions and every glitch in the caliber.

TIP #4: MAKE SURE IT’S NOT A FAKE PRODUCT.

You went through all that stress for fake? Really? Trust me, this is an expression you do not wish to be addressed to you. Fake products are everywhere because, why not? People make sham duplicates of reputable brands and not only is this hurting the brand name, you are also losing value of your hard-earned money. Verify your brand outlet and make sure it’s credible enough to actually spend your money on. Also remember that these fake products may be harmful to your skin.

TIP #5: BUY ONLY NECESSARY PRODUCTS.

But Pauly, this one looks g- shhh! Only necessary products. I really wish somebody told me this earlier, perhaps I wouldn’t have countless eyeshadow palettes in my closet. Spend wisely and please do not but an entire palette just because of one shade of brown you seemingly can’t get over. But that’s all up to you, but I really wouldn’t recommend. You can diversify your interests as time goes by but it’s better to stick to adequate.

Those are my five tips and I hope you enjoyed this blog. Follow on Instagram @prettyfacecreation_ and see you!
